Manor Ink’s Sept. 29 Benefit Will Also Help Flood Fund

The staff at Manor Ink, Livingston Manor’s library-based, youth-led newspaper has voted to give 75% of the proceeds from this Saturday’s I-Ching fundraiser to the Rockland Relief Fund, aka The Flood Fund. The benefit happens from 5 to 7 p.m. at Morgan Outdoors, 46 Main Street, Livingston Manor.

Students of the I-Ching will be giving personal readings from the ancient Chinese Book of Changes, the I-Ching which gives some pretty great advice about life. Donations of any size will be welcome and coffee, tea and homemade cookies (and fudge) will be served! Of the donations, 75% will now go to the flood fund; 25% will go toward Manor Ink’s printing and equipment expenses.

Copies of the latest issue will be available as a bonus to all participants. Morgan Outdoors is located at 46 Main Street in Livingston Manor, just up the block from Catskill Art Society.
