CAS Seeks Art and Art Enthusiasts for SHHH! Silent Auction Benefit

The Catskill Art Society proudly presents SHHH! CAS Silent Auction Benefit, an exhibition of work by local artists to benefit the CAS Arts Center, 48 Main Street, Livingston Manor.  This exhibition will feature works by local artists that visitors can bid on, win, and take home the day the exhibition closes.  Participating artists and donors at press time, who generously contributed their work, include: Andrea Brown, Suzanne BeVier, Ilene Ferber, Gordon Gilbert, Ramona Jan, Bruce Janklow, Kath Lambert, Carol Grocki Lewis, Valerie Mansi, Judith Meyerowitz, Nick Roes, Ginger Smith, Val Taggart, Naomi Teppich, Ted Waddell, Rosanne Wellmaker, and Nancy Wells.

Gallery hours for this exhibition are Thursday – Saturday from 11am–6pm, Sunday 11am-3pm.  The CAS Arts Center is wheelchair accessible.

The Catskill Art Society welcomes additional contributions of original art from artists and collectors in the community. Proceeds from the Silent Auction will benefit the CAS Arts Center in its proposed renovation and expansion into a second floor performance and meeting space. The Catskill Art Society will be hosting a free opening reception for its new exhibition, SHHH! CAS Silent Auction Benefit. All are welcome and light refreshments will be served.

May 26, 2013 4-7pm – Closing Event: Tri-State Beer Tasting Showcase

The Catskill Art Society will be hosting the Tri-State Beer Tasting Showcase, a special closing event for its new exhibition, SHHH! CAS Silent Auction Benefit.  Tickets include hors d’oeuvres and beverages for visitors age 21 and over.  Proceeds benefit the CAS Arts Center.
