Trains on Main is pulling into Livingston Manor for its sixth year! Bring the kids and enjoy this spectacular holiday treat! To kick off our favorite local tradition, we’re hosting a special Grand Opening party from 2-4pm on Saturday, December 7. You can see the miniature trains up close, talk to the model builders, listen to live music by the MountainTones, and even get your photo taken with Santa!
The 9th Annual Livingston Manor Boxcar of Goodies will be on display at the CAS Arts Center. The more you shop, the better your chances of winning one of three Grand Prizes.
Drawing Dec. 23rd.
Trains on Main will be on display at the CAS Arts Center, Morgan Outdoors, and other businesses around Livingston Manor through December 31.
Additional details about Dina and Wendy:
“Foraging & Feasting: A Field Guide and Wild Food Cookbook” features
beautiful, instructive botanical illustrations and delicious, enlightening
recipes. Falconi and Hollender share a long commitment to connecting with
nature through food and art. Their effort weaves together Dina’s 30 years
of passionate investigations into wild-plant identification, foraging and
cooking with Wendy’s deft artistic skills honed over 15 years as a
botanical illustrator. For the past three years they have been writing,
drawing, designing and testing the recipes for this book. Dina and
Wendy launched a highly successful campaign to raise funds to publish it
on Kickstarter in March of 2013.
