Services Auction Online and at the Trout Parade

This summer you will find a variety of auctions in our area, but you may not find another like this one. The Livingston Manor Library will hold a silent auction for services on June 14th at the Catskill Art Society, 48 Main Street, Livingston Manor, the day of the Trout Parade, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

At this auction, participants will bid on a variety of services contributed by fellow community members. Offerings range from important everyday services such as auto care, dog-sitting and hair cutting to more unusual services such as a fashion consultation, a day of bowling and a children’s birthday party. Many instructional services will be available such as art lessons, meditation, fly-fishing, swimming and ballroom dancing. Try some finally-I’m-going-to-do-it opportunities like yoga and strength training and some outright silly opportunities like hiring your very own couch potato! And for a grand adventure, be sure you get your bid in on the guided Delaware River float trip.

For a peek at the list of services and a chance to bid early, go to May 31 and June 13. Bids will be recorded and the highest bids will be carried over to the actual silent auction on June 14.

Proceeds from the auction will help support the varied programs and resources available at the Livingston Manor Library.

If you have a service you would like to donate or would like more information about the auction, call the library at 845-439-5440.
