Earth Award Celebration and More This Weekend

catskill_brewery_FFMPAD_7March15 (2)Congratulations to The Catskill Brewery, recipient of this year’s Earth Award from Sullivan Renaissance!

Everyone is invited to join the celebration this Saturday, March 7th when the Firefighter McPadden Pipes and Drums will be bringing a little green St. Patrick’s Day cheer to Catskill Brewery, 672 Old Route 17, at 3:00 p.m.

After you stop by  the brewery, head over to Morgan Outdoors at 4:00 p.m. Saturday for Birds of the Bashakill with Sullivan County Audobon member Lance Verderame.

The program offers a season by season account of the incredible bird life of the Bashakill Wildlife Management Area, located near Wurtsboro, the largest freshwater marsh in southern New York State.

Later that night, make sure to check out the special screening of the classic film Blackboard Jungle (1955) at 7:00 p.m. at the Laundry King, 65 Main Street, featuring a talk back with presenter Lawrence Budner. March is National Youth Art Month, a time to celebrate education in and through the arts – making it a perfect time to see this powerful and relevant movie.
