It was called Shustons and was a complete resort for mostly jewish families with a summer day camp. Does anyone have any information about its existance? thank you . evan Barnett

Having been born and raised in L.M. I try to look back from time to time. Not long ago I noted some information and photos about the Schriber Sisters, of whom many youngsters that attended and graduated from LMCS had as teachers. Quite a few of the older folks that went to the one room school houses had one of if not both of the ladies as teachers. The main reason for this know is that I have in my collection, a Souvenir cover from the Grooville School in Sullivan County., N.Y. 1913 - 1914 was as
Ethel W. Schriber, was Teacher. There were 23 girls and 23 boys in that school at that time. A number of Davis girls and one davis boy among the others. I fact my Mother-in law Edith Davis (Mears) was one. I recall Edith spoke about having Miss
Schriber for her teacher. Later my Wife, Kathy Mears (Levitt) had Mrs. Keeler at LMCS. Miss Schriber and Mrs. Keeler, being one in the same person. Wow how fast 100 years go's by. Remembering reading that Miss Schriber (Keeler) Was teaching 51 years and her Sister 49. I think I have that right. I will try to email the sites web master Harrold with the Souvenir cover as an attachment. Perhaps Harrold would consider publishing the same if this same item has not otherwise been added.
Please note my email address as it has once again changed. wayne_levitt@yahoo.com
Harrold and I were in kindergarten togeather, that shows you how old I am!
Thank you, Wayne
