These routes range from challenging mountain treks to easy afternoon
strolls. Hiking opportunities abound for people of any interest

The Balsam Lake Mountain Wild Forest is located 18 miles
north of Livingston Manor (Route 17). With over 13, 500
acres of "Forever Wild" forest preserve, Balsam
Lake Mountain offers over 22 miles of trails, perfect
